Macintosh System Setup OS 7.51 Mac TCP
- From the Apple menu select Control Pannels.
- If MacTCP is not in control pannels then you need to install MacTCP.
If MacTCP is not installed:
- Open your hard drive and find the system folder (leave the system folder closed)
- From the file menu chose Find
- Find MacTCP
- Drag MacTCP onto the closed system folder and restart
- In Control Panels select MacTCP
- Highlight the PPP option by clicking on it once.
(If the PPP option does not exist then you can download FreePPP from ROCKSTAR.COM.)
- Click on the More button.
- Set Obtain Address to Manually
- Set Gateway to 0.0.0.0
- Set the first 2 Domain Names to
dns1.theofficenet.com and
dns2.theofficenet.com respectively.
- Set the first 2 IP Address' to
65.166.240.2 and 65.166.244.2 respectively.
- Click on the top button under Default.
- Click on Ok.
- Set IP address to 0.0.0.0 and click on more.
- Set Obtain Address to Server and click ok.
- MacTCP is now configured. Close MacTCP.
You will still need to configure your PPP Program.
