Macintosh System 7.5.1 Set-Up (Mac Open Transport PPP)

Operating System: Macintosh 7.5.1

Application: Mac Open Transport PPP

1. From the Apple menu chose Control Pannel
2. Double click on the PPP icon. (You should see the screen below)

1. Enter your user name and password in the appropriate boxes.
2. Make sure that the Save Password box is checked.
3. Enter the local dial up number for your area.
4. From the PPP menu chose TCP/IP
    

1. Set the Connect Via box to "PPP"
2. Set the Configure box to "Using PPP Server"
3. If any entrys exist in the Name Server box change them to:
• 65.166.240.2 on the first line and
• 65.166.244.2 on the second line.
4. Close this window.
5. When you want to use the internet click on connect.
