To change your dial up number and username:

  1.) Start Internet Explorer.
  • Click on "Tools", Then click on "Internet Options"
  • On the "Internet Properties" box click on the "Connection" tab
  2.) Find the connection under "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings" that has (default) after it
  • Make sure that connection is hightlighted by clicking on it once
  • Now click on the "Settings" Button that is just to the right
  • A new window will appear. Near the bottom you will see the username and password fields. Add @theofficenet.com to your username
    • EXAMPLE: If your username was "gooduser" now it will be "gooduser@theofficenet.com"
  • If you are using Windows XP you should also re-enter your password right below the username.
  3.) Next click on the "Properties" button just to the right of the username
  • Another window will popup and there you will see the phone number that your computer is dialing.
  • Change the number to: 640-2200
  4.) Click the "OK" button on each one of the boxes till they are gone.
  5.) That's it!  The next time you dial on you will be using the new number. If you have any questions or problems please call us at 935-8941.
